BSc (Hons) Computing and Games Development

The BSc (Hons) Computing & Games Development course is a BCS accredited 3 year degree programme (with an optional work placement year) at the University of Plymouth.

Through a program of computer science fundamentals and game development expertise, students learn to create apps, release indie games and apply game tech to real world problems. This portfolio builds their profile as a software/game developer. The final year project evidences the culmination of what students have learnt during their time as part of the CGD, and is heavily guided by the individual interests of each student. This showcase will therefore demonstrate the breath of our student’s capabilities through a variety of projects from developer facing tools to games, applications to interactive software pieces
